For about 50 years, Sagar Jute Spinning Mills has been weaving traditional values with contemporary innovation to create high-quality jute products that touch people's lives.

Sagar Jute Mills Unit-1 and Unit-2, are part of SAGAR Group, a diversified well-established corporate family based in Bangladesh. The group has a manufacturing presence employing about 5,000 people and serving customers in over 30 countries. Our journey started when our founding chairman I. B Das started a raw jute trading business with Europe and Asia dating back in the 60's. In 1982, Sagar Jute Mills was established in Senhati, Khulna, marking our introduction to jute yarn manufacturing. Under the capable leadership of the second generation and our current Chairman, Mr. C. R Das, we expanded our yarn production to over 20 MT per day and 80 MT of diversified Jute products (VOT) such as Sacking Bags, Hessian Cloth, Geotextiles, CBC, Jute Ropes, Webbing, Potato Bags and so on. In 2020, we also added another unit focused on producing high quality Jute yarn for our exclusive customers.

Our production process begins with sorting, cleaning, and grading jute fibres for quality. After carding to remove impurities and aligning the fibres, they are spun into high-quality yarns. Skilled workers then weave these yarns into various fabrics and bags, and utilise them in technical applications like slope and river protection. With stringent quality controls at every stage, we excel in producing a wide range of jute and diversified products.
